Virginia Concrete Countertops and Elements has been building concrete countertops and other design elements since 2007. We call Virginia home, but we do work in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, Richmond, Roanoke, Charlottesville and Northern Virginia, and all places in-between. Virginia Concrete Countertops and Elements crafts both residential and commercial projects, new construction as well as remodels. 
We are local craftsmen using local materials to make hand made custom products for the home. We have grown to appreciate the earth hewn quality that makes concrete unique and different from all the run of the mill countertop options out there. Concrete lends itself well to artistic expression and personalization. Because concrete is so custom and personal, every job is different and every day is unique. From the building of forms, to the mixing of concrete, and the addition of dyes and aggregate, every step in the process is by hand. No two pieces that come out of our shop are the same.
We view the nature of our work as a collaborative and an extension of the skilled artisans and professionals we work with. We have an open shop environment that encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and information. We welcome the diversity of every job that we are involved in. It is our intent to make concrete both practical and beautiful, and is a tribute to what design and building can achieve together.
Virginia Concrete Countertops and Elements crafts concrete countertops for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplace mantles, tables, desks, and anywhere else countertops are desired. Vertical applications for concrete are also possible such as fireplace surrounds and wall tiles. Integral sinks can be fashioned in many different shapes and sizes to set a kitchen or bathroom apart from the usual. Concrete countertops are a minimum of 1.5” thick which gives them a substantial look and
feel. Virginia Concrete Countertops can make thicker countertops as well as fabricate front edge returns up to 6" deep.
Virginia Concrete Countertops and Elements specializes in custom color creations. We can customize existing colors or match the color of an item such as a paint chip or fabric. We produce two or more samples and submit them for your approval.
While we usually add our pigments into the mix to get the desired color, acid stains and dyes can be used once the concrete has cured for a whole new range of colors and effects.
Any color can be produced in a solid, speckled or variegated pattern. And, you can specify embedded stone, glass, coins, fossills, or other objects. You can also define the color, size and density of embedments. Coupled with the many color choices, you have a myriad of design options
Virginia Concrete Countertops and Elements warrantees the structural integrity of the concrete for one year after installation. The countertops will of course last a lot longer than a year, but if any problems were to occur, they would occur in the first year. We subject the concrete to much larger stresses while handling it than clients ever could once it is installed.
